Caskod was established as a form of EBO in February 2001, as Materials business unit of Daewoo Heavy
Industries & Machinery (now Doosan Infracore) was separated and became an independent firm.

Our company originally started as the first iron casting foundry in Korea which produced the main parts of diesel engines—engine blocks and heads—in 1975, later expanded our hydraulic component foundry
in Gimpo in 2011, and has grown since to where we are today.
We have been producing high-level casting materials which built the root of Korean machine industry: Our main business field includes the production of cast iron cylinder blocks and cylinder heads for engines,
hydraulic valves and moving parts for construction equipment, and casting mold manufacturing.

As we believe that it is our customer’s success which makes us succeed, we have acquired ISO/TS 16949
and ISO 9001 certifications to create the best customer value through perfect quality assurance and
continuous innovation.
